T-MASS
We start with a T-MASS poured wall concrete foundation. In a T-MASS wall assembly, continuous STYROFOAM extruded polystyrene rigid insulation is sandwiched between two layers of high strength concrete with an advanced exterior waterproofing membrane. The T-MASS foundation system means a drier, warmer and more comfortable below-grade living space for you and your family.
Your Health
The Chuba Company is addressing the concern over mold. Homes built with exterior walls using T-MASS, SIPs and Foam technology offer superior moisture resistance versus conventional forms of construction. In addition to these construction details, we use advanced waterproofing techniques and products throughout your home.
SIPS, EPS, Spray Foam
We choose exterior framework made with Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs). SIPs are high-performance building panels for exterior floors, walls and roofs. Each panel is made using expanded polystyrene foam (EPS) insulation sandwiched between two structural skins of oriented strand board (OSB). These walls meet Energy Star ™ criteria for walls that offer higher R-Values than wood-framed walls. Better insulation means that you will use less energy heating and cooling your home, potentially reducing your utility bills up to 45%.
